After school in-class option available for Year 5 - Year 8 students - Limited to schools in East Auckland
This is a creative multi-levelled class suitable for children who has zero mandarin background or children who understand Mandarin and aspire to increase vocabulary, expressions as well as reading capabilities. Children craft their very own project book to a well-known children's classics each term and get to practise their conversations every week in class and at home.
Sessions are filled with wonderful and wholesome stories that are fun and engaging, introducing children to a wide range of vocabularies and phrases. Children will get used to the different intonation of this beautiful language through various activities.

Summer Holiday class "Fun with pictographs" - 2.00pm -2.45 pm, Sat (4 weeks, $35/lesson)
Suitable for children who are ready to learn to read. These sessions borrow thematic topics and use interesting story ideas to allow children to systematically progress through listening and speaking. Emphasis will be on correct pronunciation and ability to read. Children will be exposed to games and various activities in the process of learning. Graded readers are used in this class to help children progress through the levels.
